JAKARTA - The Ministry of Cooperatives and Small and Medium Enterprises collaborates with the Cooperatives, Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (LPDB-KUMKM) Cooperatives and MSMEs Management Institute in 2022 at the Smesco Building, Jakarta from 7 to 9 December 2022.

This festival is a demonstration event for Cooperatives, MSMEs, and also an Incubator Institute with investors, potential buyers to establish business cooperation, obtain investor financing, to access to capital and assistance.

This event is also an annual event to provide literacy and education to the public about government policies in building cooperative and MSME ecosystems as well as to realize the commitment of the Ministry of Cooperatives and SMEs in the implementation of the Job Creation Law.

The President Director of LPDB-KUMKM Supomo said, the Nusantara for Cooperatives and MSMEs Festivals continues to be carried out by the Ministry of Cooperatives and SMEs together with LPDB-KUMKM to provide access to capital, investment, business cooperation, to strengthening the cooperative and MSME ecosystems, as well as incubator institutions.

"This festival is the second year we have carried out, in addition to providing revolving fund distribution, we are also assigned assistance, this activity is part of our assistance in providing access to funding from investors, as last year there have also been many startups and MSMEs that we fostered to get injections of funds from investors," Supomo said in a written statement, Thursday, December 8.

This year's event presents 11 investors and also nine pitching business participants who present their profiles and business trips in front of potential investors.

Meanwhile, for the exhibition itself, there are 55 tenant booths ranging from cooperatives, MSMEs, incubator institutions, as well as startups from various sectors.

Meanwhile, the pitching business is carried out to encourage tenant incubators to get investors, get loans or financing, and business cooperation with investors in developing their businesses.

"In addition to this exhibition and activity, we have also opened a coaching clinic LPDB-KUMKM booth for visitors who want to consult information and technical requirements for filing revolving funds for cooperatives," said Supomo.

Supomo hopes that this activity can provide easy access to capital, investment, and marketing for cooperatives and MSMEs who participate in this activity.

"With us meeting in this event, we hope that the business ecosystem can be established, business networking will also increase, and the government's efforts to provide investor access or funding will also be realized, because MSMEs, potential buyers, cooperatives, and incubator institutions are presented," concluded Supomo.
