JAKARTA - The Ministry of Industry (Kemenperin) seeks to prepare apparatus human resources (HR) that have competence in accordance with their duties, by re-implementing Basic Training (Latsar) for Civil Servant Candidates (CPNS).

The basic CPNS training is intended for participants who pass through a series of CPNS entrance tests which were held simultaneously and transparently last year.

"This basic training is one of the mandatory requirements so that CPNS can be officially appointed as civil servants," said Head of the Industrial Human Resources Development Agency (BPSDMI) of the Ministry of Industry, Arus Gunawan, in Jakarta, Wednesday, December 7.

The current said, to prepare competent and professional human resources for apparatus in accordance with the needs of organizations and industry, it is necessary to implement the competence development of the apparatus.

"This is one of the steps to provide support for the growth and increasing competitiveness of the industrial sector," he said.

He also said that CPNS is prepared to continue the struggle in advancing the national industry, and can make maximum contributions to their respective work units by utilizing the insights and knowledge that has been gained from this training.

The basic training in 2022 consists of four agendas, including the readiness of state defense, the basic values of ASN BERAKHLAK, the position and role of ASN in the Republic of Indonesia, and Habintuation.

For your information, Latsar CPNS has been held in April-December 2022 at the BPSDMI Jakarta Office and the Industrial Education and Training Center in a number of parts of Indonesia.

This training was attended by 804 CPNS of the Ministry of Industry which was divided into five waves covering 20 batches.

Latsar CPNS in 2022 will be carried out based on the Decree of the Head of LAN No. 13 of 2022 concerning Guidelines for the Implementation of Latsar CPNS and Decree of the Head of LAN No. 14 of 2022 concerning Curriculum Latsar CPNS, Head of the Center for Education and Training of HR Apparatus.

In the decision of the Head of LAN, the blended learning method is used, namely learning methods that combine or combine distance learning (PJJ) with face-to-face learning (PTM).

The method consists of four stages, including the Massive Open Online Course for 16 days, Distance Learning for 22 days, the shortest Habination for 30 working days, and Classical for six days.

To accommodate the program to improve the competence of human resources for industrial apparatus, the Ministry of Industry's BPSDMI is also building a Corporate University (CorpU) which will be a forum for all human resources in the industrial sector to learn and share knowledge with each other continuously, and be connected in a knowledge ecosystem to increase the productivity of the national industry.

The human resources of the industrial apparatus are expected to become a digital talent and digital leader who will be ready to support the transformation of the digital bureaucracy in the era of industrial revolution 4.0.
