The Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) handed over the second phase of state property grants (BMN) after the handover of the first phase some time ago had previously been carried out.

Secretary General of the Ministry of PUPR Mohammad Zainal Fatah said this activity was an acceleration of the delivery of infrastructure that had been built by his party with funds sourced from the APBN.

"This infrastructure is expected to be used as soon as possible in providing services to the community," he said online on Wednesday, December 7.

Zainal explained that the second phase of BMN submission was given to the Ministry of Education Rp734.7 billion with the type of construction of lecture buildings, the Sumatra Institute of Technology with a value of BMN of Rp35.1 billion in the form of ring roads, special roads, office buildings, and permanent parks.

Then, the Government of Kota Baru Regency Rp. 18.9 billion in the form of suspension bridges, school renovations, and construction of TPA, the Provincial Government of North Kalimantan Rp. 14.8 billion in the form of access roads for Selor Regency, West Manggarai Regency Government Rp. 64.5 billion for the development of a national tourism strategic area.

Then, the Bengkulu City Government with a value of Rp. 152.2 billion in the form of improving drainage quality, public facilities, equipment, and machinery, the Tanjung Pinang City Government Rp. 144.6 billion with BMN improving the quality of public settlements and depletion, and the General Assembly of Churches with BMN of Rp. 12.9 billion in the form of flats (rusun).

"We hope that the synergy of all parties can continue to bring goodness to our beloved country," said Zainal.
