JAKARTA - Minister of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) Erick Thohir appreciated the performance of PT PLN (Persero) in the success of the implementation of the series of Indonesian G20 Presidency to the peak event of the G20 Summit on 15-16 November 2022.
This appreciation was given for the hard work and support of PLN in securing electricity infrastructure so that the event took place with no flickering electricity.
SOE Minister Erick Thohir expressed his gratitude and appreciation to all SOEs who participated in the success of the G20. Erick advised that the success of the G20 would not make SOEs complacent.
"In BUMN we have done extraordinary things at this time. Our image is extraordinary but cannot be complacent because after the G20 now we are being challenged again competing with other nations," said Erick.

PLN President Director Darmawan Prasodjo said this appreciation was a special gift for all PLN personnel who worked hard over the past year.
"Tonight is a special night, the Minister of SOEs, Mr. Erick Thohir, gives his appreciation to PLN for their hard work in supporting the success of the G20 Summit," said Darmawan.
To make the implementation of the G20 Indonesia Presidency successful, said Darmawan, it is not easy.

In addition to presenting reliable electricity during the G20 Summit, PLN also maximizes infrastructure and all facilities to support the use of electric cars which are operational vehicles for delegates.
PLN has not only succeeded in building Public Electric Vehicle Charging Stations (SPKLU) and Home Charging but also ensures smoothness and safety of charging electric cars during the G20 Summit run smoothly.
Therefore, Darmawan dedicates this appreciation to all PLN personnel who have worked day and night to make the G20 Presidency a success.
"This requires a very tough struggle, this requires extraordinary dedication and sacrifice. For that tonight is a special night, this is PLN's night, a gift of appreciation given directly by Mr. Erik," said Darmawan.
Darmawan also ensured that PLN would work harder in the future, in accordance with the direction of the Minister of SOEs.
