JAKARTA - The Ministry of Transportation through the Directorate General of Transportation has again distributed humanitarian assistance to victims of natural disasters in Cianjur, West Java.

Assistance sent starts from medicines, basic necessities to clothes.

The head of the Tanjung Priok KSU, Andi Hartono, said that this assistance was collected through an action named DGT PEDULI CIANJUR.

This wave II humanitarian aid was coordinated by the Tanjung Priok Main Harbormaster Office (KSU) which established an aid post in its office.

"We have sent wave II assistance, which has been collected from the UPT of the Directorate General of Hubla DKI Jakarta and Stakeholders, for earthquake victims in Cianjur on Saturday," said Head of KSU Tanjung Priok, Andi Hartono, Sunday, November 27.

Andi revealed that the collected assistance had been handed over to Brigadier General TNI (Mar) Dr Hermanto as the Commander of the Cianjur Navy Task Force in the Cianjur DPRD office yard.

"The assistance provided this time is in the form of basic necessities, clothes, baby needs, instant food, worship equipment, toiletries, sleeping utensils, medicines and other necessities," he said.

Andi revealed that the period for raising humanitarian aid for DJPL concerned will continue to open until November 29, 2022.

"So it is planned that in stages there will be further humanitarian aid deliveries", Andi concluded.
