PLN Increases The Use Of Local Products Through One Stop Service

JAKARTA - PT PLN (Persero) through the PLN Icon Plus Sub Holding prioritizes the use of local products in the electric vehicle ecosystem. This is shown to be one of the ways through the Electric Vehicle Digital Services (EVDS) feature contained in the PLN Mobile application. Business Management Manager and Products of PLN Icon Plus, Haidar Ahmad said, the EVDS feature on the PLN Mobile application is here to integrate the electric vehicle ecosystem in Indonesia. "When it comes to business, we don't just talk about its products, but we also have to talk about its demand. So we are building an Electrifying Lifestyle by an integrated ecosystem," he said in an official statement, Saturday, November 26. Haidar explained, this EVDS feature includes community formation, charging stations, battery exchange, Test Drive, even electric vehicle rental. This feature is expected to encourage domestic product spending that has an impact on increasing TKDN numbers. Moreover, this integrated application is also the result of domestic work. "Alhamdulillah we at PLN Icon Plus have made efforts to improve TKDN on the EV ecosystem from the technology side. We built an integrated system both of its users and its own chargers. We started everything from scratch, we learned how to communicate between systems, servers with chargers," said Haidar. According to him, there are several components of the electric vehicle ecosystem that have the potential to be developed domestically. For example, it is the material and vehicle processing, vehicle assembly, battery, charger, technology development, to waste treatment. From TKDN we cannot talk about each, we have to talk together about how the material and processing, how the assembly, and how the technology is, "explained Haidar.
