JAKARTA - Along with Beyond Kwh's program, PT PLN (Persero) targets special forces for Working in Voltage (PDKB) to develop their business wings to foreign countries by 2023.

PLN's Director of Transmission and System Planning, Evy Haryadi, said that currently his party has collaborated with international electricity companies.

"We have cooperation with international electricity companies, especially at the Southeast Asian level. From several meetings, it shows that we have advantages in GDP, so that neighboring electricity companies are interested in using the competence of the PLN PDKB team," Haryadi told the media, Friday, November 25.

Haryadi said that PLN already has a roadmap for GDP for the 2022-2025 period.

This year, PLN focuses on updating the procedures and PDKB Work instructions.

"Next year, we hope to focus on the preparation of the beyond kWh program policy as well as the development of international GDP training. In the end, in 2023, PDKB is expected to hold an international level convention," explained Haryadi.

Not only through beyond kWh, Haryadi also opens opportunities for instructors, PDKB training, PDKB equipment testing to contribute to foreign countries.

Currently, PLN has 470 High Voltage PDKB personnel consisting of 31 Network PDKB teams and 30 Substation PDKB teams spread across 33 Transmission Implementing Units throughout Indonesia.

PLN also has 1,034 mid-voltage PDKB personnel consisting of 51 distanced PDKB teams and 62 PDKB teams lining up spread across 22 Main Distribution Units (UID)/Regional Main Units (UIW) throughout Indonesia.
