Haris continued that the I-SIM for Cities program is a flagship program for PT Surveyor Indonesia. His party has the initiative to build a bridge between stakeholders and the local government.

Pembangunan SDGs lanjut Haris perlu didukung oleh stakeholders yang berada di wilayah tersebut. Keberlanjutan pembangunan, kesejahteraan, penyasan kemiskinan, isu terkait gender, akses pendidikan, menjadi tanggung jawab semua pihak, bukan hanya pemerintah daerah.

"This is where the role of Surveyor Indonesia is to inspire that every element of the nation's children must be able to make a positive contribution to the company, society and state. SDGs must be a joint movement," he said.

Expert Staff to the Minister of National Development Planning for Social Affairs and Poverty Reduction and the Head of the National Secretariat of SDGs as representatives of the government, Vivi Yulawati, who is one of the panelists, said this judging was an extraordinary experience because she could get to know more deeply and gain comprehensive insight into SDGs carried out by the city government.

"I-SIM is integrated sustainability. Of course, it is based on data that is not only focused on one or two goals but also talks about the inter-goals relationship between the SDGs and its impacts," he said.

This makes judging have to be observant and can see comprehensively the programs carried out along with their impacts. Vivi added that this I-SIM is a part of learning for every city and may later develop to other regions so that they can build better data, can measure, and prove the achievement of SDGs in each city and of course Indonesia.

The I-SIM for Cities judging will be part of the SDGs Action Awards (SDGs Award) for the Regional Government category which will be delivered at the Annual Conference 30 November 2022 at the Bogor Palace and 1-2 December 2022 at the Sultan Hotel, Jakarta by the Ministry of National Development Planning/Bappenas to increase the integration and collaboration of multi-party parties in SDGs Indonesia.

I-SIM for Cities is an initiative movement to support the sustainability of multi-stakeholders in managing aspects of sustainable development, the environment, social and governance, including accelerating the achievement of SDGs at the city level. Through this program, the city government can disclose data and measure achievements in the context of accelerating the performance of this achievement.

With the spirit of inclusiveness or no one left behind, I-SIM for Cities creates the involvement of pentahelix multi-stakeholders, such as: government, academics, community, business, philanthropy and media. More than that, this program also encourages the development of city government capabilities towards sustainable city standards.
