JAKARTA - The government through the Ministry of Finance (Kemenkeu) reports that by the end of October 2022 the state has collected revenues of IDR 2,181.6 trillion.

Minister of Finance (Menkeu) Sri Mulyani said that this amount grew 44.5 percent on an annual basis (year on year/yoy) compared to the same period in 2021 of IDR 1,510.2 trillion.

"This result is proof that Indonesia's economic recovery is still maintained," he told reporters via online channels, Thursday, November 24.

The Minister of Finance explained that the state's opinion was supported by two things, namely tax revenue and non-tax state revenue (PNBP).

Tax revenues recorded an increase of 47 percent to IDR 1,704.5 trillion. Meanwhile, tax revenues consist of tax revenues (assumed IDR 1,448.2 trillion) and customs/expension (assumed IDR 256.3 trillion).

Meanwhile, PNBP posted an increase of 36.4 percent to IDR 476.5 trillion.

"This good result is also supported by commodity prices that are still relatively high and the impact of various government policies, especially in the enactment of the Law on Harmonization of Tax Regulations or HPPs," said Minister of Finance Sri Mulyani.
