Iming-iming Visitors To IPEX Bunga 2.47 Percent, BTN Incar Distribution Of Mortgages Of Up To IDR 1.5 Trillion

JAKARTA - PT Bank Tabungan Negara (Persero) Tbk or BTN targets to obtain a home ownership credit principle permit (KPR) of IDR 1.5 trillion during the Indonesia Property Expo (IPEX) 2022 property exhibition at the Jakarta Convention Center (JCC) on 19-27 November 2022.

"I think it can be Rp1.5 trillion with details of non-subsidized mortgages of Rp900 billion, subsidized mortgages of Rp300 billion, and sharia mortgages of Rp300 billion," said PT BTN President Director Haru Koesmahargyo in a written statement quoted by Antara, Sunday.

Haru said that in an effort to achieve this target, the company also provided 2.47 percent interest for the first year for IPEX 2022 visitors plus free provision, administration, and appraisal costs.

Haru said that the implementation of the IPEX Exhibition, which has been held 24 times, is a form of BTN's commitment to maximizing the existing potential to support the provision of proper housing for the community.

"We realize that to solve several things related to housing in Indonesia, cooperation with developer associations and regulators is needed, one of which is to hold this IPEX event," Haru said.

According to Haru, IPEX 2022 was attended by 42 developers consisting of 32 non-subsidized housing project developers, 10 subsidized housing developers and 5 supporting products.

"In this event, around 325 housing projects were exhibited. There are several housing projects located outside the city such as in Bandung and Surabaya. As well as strategic location locations according to the direction of the Minister of SOEs, namely transit-based housing (transit-oriented development/TOD)," Haru said.
