The I-SIM For Cities program is part of an integrated I-SIM for city governments, corporations, industrial estates and sustainable commodities. I-SIM for Cities is an initiative movement to support the sustainability of multi-stakeholders in managing aspects of sustainable development, the environment, social and governance, including accelerating the achievement of SDGs at the city level.

Through this program, the city government can disclose data and measure achievements in accelerating the performance of these achievements. With the spirit of inclusiveness or no one left behind, I-SIM for Cities creates the involvement of pentahelix multi-stakeholders, such as: government, academics, communities, businesses, philanthropy and the media.

In addition, this program also encourages the development of the city government's capabilities against sustainable city standards.

"This I-SIM For Cities is expected to encourage various parties, especially the private sector in implementing ESG in business processes and increasing public awareness to make SDGs a Joint Movement," said PT Surveyor Indonesia President Director, M. Haris Witjaksono, in a written statement, Friday 18 November.

Haris further said that the rating method is also expected to inspire and become an innovative example of sustainable development implementation, as well as encourage replication, scale-up and new innovation.

Furthermore, as part of the integration of the National SDGs, the assessment from I-SIM for Cities will be part of the SDGs Action Awards (SDGs Award) for the Regional Government category, which will be delivered at the SDGs Annual Conference event.

This event will be held on November 30, December 2 by the Ministry of National Development Planning/Bappenas to increase integration and multi-party collaboration in Indonesian SDGs.
