JAKARTA - Batik Air has opened its voice regarding the complaint from Kaesang Pangareb whose suitcase was lost to Kualanamu Airport, Medan, North Sumatra.

The airline owned by Rusdi Kirana apologized for the mistake of handling Kaesang's trunk.

Corporate Communications Strategic of Batik Air, Danang Mandala Prihantoro said, there was an error in handling the baggage number of flight ID-7130 on the Changi International Airport route, Singapore (SIN) to Juanda International Airport Surabaya in Sidoarjo, East Java (SIN) on Sunday, November 13, which was used by Kaesang Pangareb.

"Responding to complaints about baggage that was not received at the destination airport of one of the guests on behalf of Pangarep, Kaesang and news developments, Batik Air apologized for the inconvenience that had arisen," Danang told reporters, Monday, November 14. Danang explained that Batik Air had sent the baggage directly according to the guest address and had been received on Monday, November 14, 2022 at 02.30 WIB. Furthermore, Danang said, Batik Air is currently still carrying out an internal investigation process regarding the incompatibility of including baggage on aircraft operated according to the flight number and destination city (missload).

"The results of the investigation in the form of recommendations or references obtained will be used (implemented) in order to improve the quality of service to guests," he said.
