Young George Saa Appreciation President Jokowi's Appreciation For Serious Attention To Papuan Human Resources

JAKARTA - A young Papuan figure, Septinus George Saa, expressed his appreciation to President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) who paid serious attention to the development of Papuan human resources through the trust given to Papua Muda Inspirative (PMI).

George Saa said in a press statement in Manokwari, Friday, November 11, responding to President Joko Widodo (Jokowi)'s plan to inaugurate the Papua Youth Creative Hub (PYCH) building in Jayapura, Papua in December.

"As one of the founders of Papua Muda Inspirational (PMI), I personally appreciate the attention and trust given by the President and the State Intelligence Agency (BIN) to Papuan youths through PMI as the driver of the younger generation of Papua," said George, quoted from Antara, Saturday 12 November.

Therefore, he hopes that at the moment of the inauguration of the PYCH building by the President, all (21 founders) PMIs who have presented their respective work program plans in front of the President in 2019, will participate actively and contribute to the success of PMI.

He said that the facilities and infrastructure building in PYCH is about 1.5 hectares of land, equipped with main buildings, dormitory, sports venues, hall for exhibitions or presentations, and co-working space.

"All facilities and infrastructure so that they can be managed, utilized and accessed by all the younger generation of Papua who have a dream to become reliable businessmen in their respective fields," he said.

According to him, PMI is a big house with all young Papuans who are ready to work together to encourage progress in each field that is carried out.

Therefore George also encouraged PMI who was entrusted with being one of the managers of the PYCH building to open wider access so that more young Papuans could join.

"We have made a house by the President and BIN, let's work there for the progress of the welfare of Papua. Many young people and women from the regions want to join PMI but have not yet had access," he said.

He also encouraged PMI to become a transparent organization in managing partnership funds provided by cross-ministerial and local governments.

It is known, PMI is a forum that President Jokowi has entrusted and directly accompanied by the State Intelligence Agency (BIN) to encourage all young Papuans to work and create superior MSME products and their technology to be marketed to strengthen the economy of Papua and also nationally.
