JAKARTA - Shell Indonesia is expanding and doubling the capacity of the Marunda lubricants Oil Blending Plant (LOBP) in Bekasi to meet the growing demand for premium lubricant products in Indonesia.
The expansion of this factory is expected to produce 300 million liters of lubricant per year. Prior to expansion, LOBP Marunda had a production capacity of 136 million liters per year.

The new plant is backed by the application of various world-class technologies, such as cutting-edge blending equipment, high-speed charging machines, and Automatic Mobile Robot (AMR), a smart robotic system capable of lowering, placing, and compiling lubricant products from packaging charging machines to assist the loading process on trucks.
LOBP Marunda produces a variety of lubricant products including Shell Helix (car engine driver), Shell Advance (motor singer), Shell Rimula (heavy duty diesel player), Shell Spirax (transmission investigator), and other industrial lubricants.
