Before Witnessing Jokowi And Xi Jinping At The G20 Showcase, The Jakarta-Bandung High Speed Train Dynamic Test Will Take Place Starting Tomorrow

JAKARTA - Jakarta Bandung's high-speed train (KCJB) will be exhibited at the G20 Showcase. For this reason, PT Kereta Cepat Indonesia (KCIC) will conduct a trial of a train series in preparation for a dynamical test. The G20 Showcase will be conducted on November 16, 2022. KCJB will conduct a dynamical test from Tegalluar to Cikoko, and witnessed by President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) and Chinese President Xi Jinping virtually from Bali. "All preparations are going well. We will carry out a series of tests simultaneously since November 11 to strengthen preparations towards the G20," said PT KCIC Corporate Secretary, Rahadian Ratry, Thursday, November 10. Currently, Rahadian said the entire EMU and CIT series had been assembled or re-assembled mechanically. This series of EMU and CIT trains can already go and just go through a series of tests. "After going through a long process starting from sending from China, then sending via land from Jakarta, all EMU KCJB and CIT are already connected and ready to undergo a series of tests. EMU and CIT KCJB are currently stopping at Depo Tegalluar in a test-ready condition," explained Rahadian. In Tegalluar, Rahadian, electrical system installations for stations and depots have been completed. Likewise, the installation of Upper Flow Electricity (LAA) which will be used for the operational needs of KCJB at the G20 Showcase. That way, the energy requirements for KCJB Dynamical Tests are already available. "Alhamdulillah's electricity needs already exist in either stations, depots or in the tracks used for Dynamical Tests later," he said.

Rahadian mengatakan saat ini pihaknya tinggal melakukan serangkat tejian perlapan mulai dari uji static hingga dinamis untuk mempermekan kemampuan fitur yang ada di KCJB.

Later, the KCJB Dynamics test process will be witnessed by the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Joko Widodo and Chinese President Xi Jinping via teleconference. In the G20 Showcase later, the two presidents will see the sophistication of the CIT series and see the dynamic test process continuing. "Because the dynamic test will be watched live via teleconference, we are also preparing a network so that the KCJB dynamic test live streaming agenda can run smoothly. For your information, KCJB is one of the Indonesian government's National Strategic Projects (PSN) in accordance with Presidential Regulation No.3/2016. KCJB has a 142.3 km track with 4 stations namely Halim Stations in Jakarta, Karawang Station, Padalarang Station as Hub station and Tegalluar Station in Bandung Regency as the final station. Currently, the construction completion process continues to process ahead of its operational period in 2023.
