Jokowi And Xi Jinping Will Watch Virtual Rapid Train Dynamical Trials From Bali

JAKARTA - The Jakarta Bandung High Speed Train (KCJB) is scheduled to conduct a dynamical test in mid-November. The dynamical test will be witnessed directly by President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) and Chinese President Xi Jinping virtually from Bali.

President Director of PT KAI Didiek Hartantyo said that as of November 2, PLN had turned on power on 150 KV in the Tegalluar area, Bandung.

Furthermore, a dynamical test will be carried out from Tegalluar to Cikoko on November 16, 2022, in the framework of the G20 Showcase.

"A dynamic test experiment was carried out on Tegalluar to Cikopo which was approximately 20 km, which was carried out online. Later, President Jokowi and Xi Jinping will watch it from Bali," he said in a hearing with Commission VI, Wednesday, November 9.

In this dynamic test, said Didiek, the train set for the high-speed train train was able to run.

Didiek explained that this dynamic test was not carried out thoroughly, only on the Tegalluar and Cikopo routes in the framework of the G20 Summit.

"Showcase is just a dynamic test for the place. It's not comprehensive. Later the EMU (electric multiple unit) will be carried out from Tegaluar to Cikopo. So the train set can run," he said.

On this occasion, Didiek said, the latest development of the KCJB project, namely the construction progress, had reached 79.51 percent. Meanwhile, the investment progress reached 90.60 percent.

"The progress of the station and Depo where Halim Station is already 69.44 percent, Karawang Station 65.99 percent, Padalarang Station 9.75 percent, Tegalluar Station 81.77 percent and Tegalluar Depo 52.65 percent," he said.

Didiek said that on December 31, it was targeted that all completions of the main line construction, stations, including the Padalarang station would be completed.
