Accelerate Distribution Of Wage Subsidy Assistance, Post Indonesia Holds Daily Evaluation To Vidcon With Officers In Field

PT Pos Indonesia (Persero) has accelerated the distribution of wage subsidy assistance (BSU) for 3.6 million recipients registered as workers, spread throughout Indonesia.

Pos Indonesia Finance Services Business Director Haris said BSU has been distributed simultaneously in all Post Offices in all regions in Indonesia since November 2, 2022.

"Because this is a national program, a big program, we are coordinating with relevant stakeholders. We are conducting daily evaluations, we are conducting video conferences with field friends to see the progress of this distribution," he said in a statement quoted by Antara, Friday, November 4.

In addition, he continued, there will be information on problems or obstacles in the field to find the best solution so that the distribution of wage subsidy assistance can be carried out smoothly, such as the distribution of previous assistance.

Haris said the distribution of BSU was a challenge for Pos Indonesia, because apart from being the first task in the work scope, it was also related to the limited data on BSU recipients.

His party coordinates with the Ministry of Manpower, BPJS Employment and personnel in charge (PIC) of various companies where BSU recipients work, to ensure these employees or workers, and the following is the city/location where each BSU recipient works.

So far, his party has intensively conducted socialization to BSU recipients, to check whether they are included in the BSU list.

If it has been declared a recipient of the wage subsidy, he added, BSU recipients can confirm whether the person concerned is registered as a BSU recipient at Pos Indonesia by checking the NIK e-KTP through the mainstay application of PT Pos, namely Pospay.

Haris emphasized that all BSU recipients had been made into accounts collectively, but Pos Indonesia assisted in the process of disbursing BSU funds in cash to BSU recipients.

For this reason, his party will adjust the payment location with their respective companies.

If in one company there is a sufficient number of BSU recipients (at least 20 people), then the Post Office will deploy officers directly to location points, such as companies, factories, or offices where workers or employees receive BSU.

Meanwhile, to accelerate the distribution of BSU as well as make it easier for workers, the post office extends service time, from the original Monday - Saturday to Monday to Sunday until 20.00 WIB.

"The target of distributing BSU is until the end of November 2022. We are optimistic that it can be completed in two or three weeks. PT Pos will intensify publications regarding the disbursement of BSU at the Post Office," said Head of the Social Assistance Task Force of PT Pos Indonesia (Persero) Hendrasari.

BSU is given IDR 600 thousand to workers with a maximum salary of IDR 3.5 million per month, provided that they must be registered as BPJS Ketenagakerjaan participants until July 2022.
