Already Capai Rp8.8 Trillion, Tax Absorption In West Kalimantan Can Meet The Target Of 100 Percent Before The Closing Of The Year

PONTIANAK - Head of Counseling, Services, and Public Relations Division, Directorate General of Taxes (DJP) of West Kalimantan Province, Vadri Usman targets tax absorption to reach up to 100 percent by November 2022.

"Alhamdulillah, until today, October 21, 2022, taxes have reached 94 percent of IDR 8.8 trillion. Our target is that in November we can absorb tax revenues of up to 100 percent of all sectors in West Kalimantan," said Vadri Usman, quoted by Antara, Sunday.

According to him, the sector with the largest absorption was from the trade sector, amounting to 28 percent. The percentage increase in the trade sector every month is evenly flat.

"The largest sector is the trade sector, which is 28 percent. The increase every month is evenly increased, but compared to 2021 there was positive growth and last year it was 53 percent," he said.

Vadri Usman explained that the factor that affected economic growth was getting better because West Kalimantan during the transition period for the recovery of the COVID-19 pandemic. So that people can return to their activities freely, the market is also already crowded.

"After passing the pandemic period, West Kalimantan began to rise and recover. Alhamdulillah, everything went smoothly, the traffic of goods and people was also getting smoother. If people move, goods move, the West Kalimantan economy will also increase," he said.

In the same place, the Head of the Regional Office of the Directorate General of Treasury (DJPb) of West Kalimantan, Imik Eko Putro, expressed his gratitude to several related elements for helping in terms of income through this positive trend.

He said that the Directorate General of Taxes (DGT), Customs and Excise, the Directorate General of State Assets (DJKN), and the National Border Management Agency (BNPP) could achieve the target of 100 percent.

"We are very grateful to our friends at the Ministry of Finance, DGT, Customs and Excise, DJKN, for the BNPP taxation, the trend is increasing. Even DGT said it would pursue a 100 percent target this November. InshaAllah, I hope that apart from DGT, Customs and Excise and BNPP can also achieve 100 percent targets throughout West Kalimantan," said Imik Eko Putro.
