After Anies Died, The Ngendon Provincial Government Fund In The Highest Bank In Indonesia Was IDR 13.5 Trillion

JAKARTA - The Provincial Government (Pemprov) of DKI Jakarta is known to be a level I area with a budget deposited in the highest bank in Indonesia. The kundon funds are known to reach IDR 13.5 trillion as of September 2022.

This was revealed when the Minister of Finance (Menkeu) Sri Mulyani gave an explanation of the realization of the 2022 State Budget this week. It was noted that such conditions had occurred for three consecutive months.

Previously, the Minister of Finance had said that the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government had jumbo funds in banks amounting to IDR 7.3 trillion in July 2022. This figure then rose to IDR 10.9 trillion in August 2022.

"The local government funds in the bank are still very high and increase compared to the previous month. So we can see that this trend has not decreased," said the state treasurer, quoted on Sunday, October 23.

According to the Minister of Finance, this condition seems to continue for the next few months before being executed at the end of the year's closing period.

"If you look at the previous pattern, this month and November will still be high and will only be realized in December," he said.

For this reason, he encouraged regional heads to immediately accelerate the use of the budget, especially in the shopping sector.

"This is one of the spending patterns that seems to be concentrated in the December period. However, in terms of economic impact, we hope that local governments and ministries/agencies can accelerate their spending more quickly and remain more focused so that the community can feel it," said the Minister of Finance.

Meanwhile, the lowest nominal balance is in the West Sulawesi Provincial Government with a total of IDR 380.1 billion. Meanwhile, in general, local government funds in banks as of September 2022 reached a value of IDR 223.8 trillion.

This amount increased by IDR 20.4 trillion or the equivalent of 10 percent compared to August 2022 which was valued at IDR 203.4 trillion.

As is known, the Provincial Government of DKI Jakarta has just been abandoned by Anies Baswedan who has placed his position as governor starting October 16, 2022. This is stated in Presidential Decree Number 100/P of 2022 which was read out during the inauguration of the new DKI Jakarta Governor's Officer (Pj), Heru Budi Hartono.
