Joining In Recovering Bali Tourism, Angkasa Pura Presents Capsule Hotel Facilities At Ngurah Rai Airport

PT Angkasa Pura I (Persero) through Bali's I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport launched the PassGO-Digital Airport Hotel facility, which is the first capsule hotel in the airport area.

The capsule hotel is managed by one of AP I's subsidiaries, namely PT Angkasa Pura Hotel (APH) in collaboration with PT Krisna Graha Primatama (KGP) which is one of the first capsule hotel operators in Indonesia.

"The inauguration of this PassGO is one of our efforts in tourism recovery which has experienced difficulties for 2.5 years due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Now all stakeholders related to tourism are trying to get up," said PT Angkasa Pura I President Director Faik Fahmi in a statement quoted by Antara, Friday, October 21.

He said the new facility was intended to increase added value and comfort and increase the choice of resting place for airport service users in Bali.

The capsule hotel, which is located on the 2nd floor of the International Arrival Terminal, offers as many as 132 modern wooden-coated capsules or pods with superior and premium types.

Each capsule is equipped with a number of interesting facilities and features, including an access card, sleeping equipment in the form of mattresses, pillows, and a high-quality blanket, cable TV, bag storage area, air ventilation system, high-speed wireless internet (Wi-Fi) service, 2 USB charging ports, lights that can change color according to the atmosphere, mirrors, read lights, and headphones.

He revealed that the guests of the capsule hotel were also spoiled with private lockers and separate bathrooms for men and women equipped with hot water and cold water.

This capsule hotel is also equipped with a public facility in the form of a 20-capacity co-working space, complete with high-speed wireless internet service facilities (Wi-Fi), lobbys, living rooms, and CCTV cameras to ensure the safety and comfort of guests.

Meanwhile, Director of PassGO-Digital Airport Hotel Richard Josano stated that the capsule hotel at I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport is an attractive choice for travelers in Bali.

"PassGo Bali will be the right choice for travelers to wait for the next flight. The Bali PassGO provides a choice of transit rates, starting from 6 hours, 9 hours, and to stay for 1 night, making it more flexible for guests," said Richard Josano.

Richard also stated that the capsule hotel at the airport would pamper travelers who are working from anywhere (WFA).
