JAKARTA - The state-owned construction company, PT Waskita Karya Tbk (WSKT) managed to record a new contract value (NKB) of IDR 11.58 trillion until the end of September 2022. The NKB acquisition came from the government at 65.36 percent, private projects at 11.81 percent, state-owned enterprises and regional-owned enterprises (BUMD) at 10.98 percent, and the company's subsidiary business development at 11.86 percent. Based on project type segmentation, the NKB consists of an infrastructure connectivity segment of 67.02 percent, buildings of 8.01 percent, EPCs of 3.80 percent, water resources (SDA) of 7.96 percent, subsidiaries of 11.86 percent, and other civil projects of 1.35 percent. WSKT Corporate Secretary Novianto Ari Nugroho explained that several projects with the largest contribution until September 2022 were the IKN Toll Road project for the Simpang Tempadung-B Bridge segment of Balang Island worth IDR 990 billion, the construction of the IKN Work Road/Logistics Package (KIPP) for the Sepaku Segmen 4 Ring Road Development Package worth IDR 182 billion, the construction of the CMU3 RSCM Jakarta Building amounting to IDR 252 billion, civil mining area work in NTB amounting to IDR 262 billion. "In addition to the achievement of NKB, until September 2022 the company is still participating in project tenders with a value of IDR 20 trillion sourced from the government, BUMN and private. The participation in the IKN project and supported by a winning rate of 26.67 percent during 9M22 makes the company more optimistic that the achievement of NKB will be in accordance with the target set at IDR 20 trillion-IDR 30 trillion this year," said Novianto in an official statement, quoted Wednesday, October 19.
