If in the past the vehicle owner had to come directly to the Samsat office, now there are a number of digital alternatives that are more practical," said Jasa Raharja President Director Rivan A. Rivan explained that there is an application called the National Digital Samsat (Signal), which is built to make it easier for the public to pay motor vehicle tax (PKB) safely and easily. He said, through the Signal application, vehicle owners no longer need to come directly to the Samsat office, it is enough to pay PKB from mobile phones that can be done anywhere and anytime. In addition, the Signal application has various services to manage vehicle taxes, including payment of annual vehicle taxes and ratification of annual Vehicle Registration Certificates (STNK). "This application can be downloaded on a cellphone with an android-based operating system or iOS," he said. Rivan further conveyed that the Samsat Trustees Team, consisting of Jasa Raharja, Korlantas Polri and the Ministry of Home Affairs, continued to provide convenience for the community to pay PKB. Thus, according to him, there is no longer any reason for motorized vehicle owners to disobey taxes. Rivan said motor vehicle taxes play an important role in various aspects. Apart from being one of the sources of income used to finance local government administration, PKB is also very important for construction, road maintenance, as well as increasing modes and public transportation facilities. In addition, one of the components in the payment of PKB is the Mandatory Contribution of Road Traffic Accident Funds (SWDKLLJ).
