JAKARTA - PLN Jakarta Raya's Distribution Main Unit moved quickly to restore electricity disturbances due to the existence of an Air Line for the Extra High Voltage (SUTET) being struck by lightning in the South Jakarta area.

In just about 30 minutes, 100 percent of the affected locations have turned on again.

General Manager of PLN Jakarta Raya Distribution Main Unit Doddy B Pangaribuan said PLN began to restore electricity supply which had been extinguished at 16.03 WIB.

"Gradually, officers have managed to normalize all electricity supply at 16.39 WIB in the affected areas, namely Gandul, Kemang, Lenteng Agung, and Pondok Indah. The pada was caused by a disturbance in the PLN's extra-high voltage electricity network," he said in an official statement, Tuesday, October 11.

He also apologized for the inconvenience felt by customers.

"For customers who need PLN services, they can be done through the PLN Mobile application," he concluded.

Previously, the Air Line for the Extra High Voltage (SUTET) in the South Jakarta area was struck by lightning, causing blackouts at several points in the South Jakarta area.
