Support IKN Development, PTPP And LG Signing A Memorandum Of Understanding For Smart City Development

JAKARTA - PT PP (Persero) Tbk (PTPP), in collaboration with LG CNS Company Limited (LG CNS) plans to collaborate to develop the Smart City project in Nusantara, which is the New Indonesia State Capital (IKN) located in East Kalimantan Province. With the experience and expertise of each company, PTPP and LG CNS believe this collaboration can provide the best implementation in the implementation of Smart City in IKN later. The development of IKN Nusantara is still being developed until now where there is one interesting thing about the development of the IKN that carries the concept of a modern smart city. The concept of intelligence city as a form of development of the smart city concept will encourage the acceleration of urban modernization through the use of technology as the basis for developing this concept. For the government, the application of the intelligence city concept in IKN Nusantara is not only carried out as an effort to align IKN Nusantara with other capitals that have carried a similar concept, but are expected to be an example for other cities in Indonesia in developing the concept of intelligence city as an effort to improve the quality of resources as well as environmental sustainability. The signing of the Smart City development memorandum was held on Friday, October 7, at the Head Office of PTPP Jakarta. "With the experience that LG CNS Smart City has in Korea, we believe it can be a very good benchmark in providing a contribution to the implementation of Smart City development in Indonesia.
