Afforded 69.11 Percent, South Japek II Toll Project Package 3 Start Calculating Interchange Location Shift

PURWAKARTA - Progres proyek Jalan Tol Jakarta-Cikampek (Japek) II Selatan Paket 3 Sukabung-Sadang sepanjang 30.6 kilometer yang kini dikelola PT Jasamarga Japek Selatan (JJS) kini telah mencapai 69,11 persen.

President Director of PT Jasamarga South Japek (JJS), Charles Lendra said, the progress of land and construction for Package 3 has taken into account land addition and adjustments to the Final Engineering Plan for the shift of the intersection location from Tamanmekar to Sukabung.

With this shift, there is also an additional 3 kilometers of road which has been included in an additional scope. Land acquisition in this activity has reached 92.3 percent.

The South Japek II Toll Road Package 3 Sukabung-Sadang project consists of two sections, namely Section 5 Sukabung-Sadang with a length of 22.1 kilometers and Section 6 Kutanegara-Sadang with a length of 8.5 kilometers.

Currently we are waiting for the revision of the location determination (Penlok) from the Governor of West Java which is being processed. To support this, we together with the team of Commitment Making Officials (PPK) for land acquisition have carried out socialization and initial data collection followed by public consultations," Charles said in a statement quoted by Antara, Thursday, October 6.

He is optimistic that the construction of Package 3 Section 5 of the Sukabung-Sadang Toll Road will be completed in the early 2023. Meanwhile, Section 6 Kutanegara-Sedang construction progress has reached 93.64 percent so that it can be used by small/class I (non bus) vehicles during the long Christmas and New Year holidays.

According to him, currently the priority for land acquisition and construction of the South Japek II Toll Road starts from Sadang first with the distribution of work packages

The South Japek II Toll Road will later have seven Interchanges (SS) namely SS Jati Asih, SS Bantar Gebang, SS Setu, SS Sukaragaram, SS Sukabung, SS Kutanegara, and SS Sadang. This toll road is an access road starting from Jati Asih to Sadang with a total length of 62 kilometers.

The South Japek II toll road is integrated with the Jakarta Outer Ring Road (JORR), JORR 2 and Cipularang Toll Road which are alternatives for road users from Jakarta to Purwakarta, Bandung and its surroundings, apart from the existing Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road and Jalan Layang MBZ.
