JAKARTA - The Regional Management (Pengwil) of the DKI Jakarta Indonesian Internet Service Providers Association (APJII) has completed the 2022 DKI Jakarta Regional Work Meeting (Rakerwil) with the theme Jakarta Reconnect and Recollaboration 2022, Thursday, September 29.

The working meeting discussed the importance of pentahelix collaboration in strengthening and expanding internet connectivity, especially in DKI Jakarta.

The issue of digital literacy for the public was also mentioned in improving public safety on the Internet.

"This is the first Rakerwil for us, and at the same time we make it the first step to strengthen the role of APJII DKI Jakarta in the capital," said Head of the DKI Jakarta APJII Regional Office, Tedi Supardi Muslih, quoted from Antara, Sunday, October 2.

He said the DKI Jakarta APJII Regional Office was only formed at the end of 2021.

So far, the activities that have been built are to strengthen the management foundation and build the best service for all members of the DKI Jakarta APJI.

"After all, the function of the organization is to serve all its members as well as possible, as well as to be the best bridge in dealing with government and providing benefits to the public," said Tedi.

In fact, APJII DKI Jakarta has encouraged the Internet eXchange IPV6 community, namely Batavia Internet eXchange (BatIX) V6 BatIXClub.id.

In addition to establishing a number of facilities and infrastructure to facilitate various cyber communities in DKI Jakarta to broaden their horizons in internet development in DKI Jakarta.

Among them is a place for discussion and training at STC, Senayan, South Jakarta.

There is even a Purchase Order (DuNgoPO) sitting on the 3A floor of the Cyber ​​Building, Kuningan, South Jakarta.

"There is a co-working space and virtual office available for members who need it. This is part of the efforts of the DKI Jakarta Regional Office for APJII for all its members," said Tedi, adding that APJII DKI Jakarta eSports are currently being designed.

Therefore, according to Tedi, the 2022 Jakarta APJII Regional Work Meeting will become an important momentum for organizational development steps in the next stages.

Tedi thanked all the participants of the Regional Work Meeting which was also attended by the General Chairperson of APJII Muhammad Arif, members of the DKI Jakarta Regional Office of APJII, and hundreds of members of APJII DKI Jakarta.

Prior to holding the Regional Work Meeting, the DKI Jakarta APJII Regional Office had also collected various inputs and suggestions from various components of the community in DKI Jakarta.

In fact, the administrators participated in the BATIC.Events (Bali Annual Telkom International Conference) performance which took place in Nusa Dua, Bali, on 20-23 September 2022.

Here the DKI Regional Office of APJII can get in touch with various participants from 200 companies from various countries which are big international players in the Telco industry.

The DKI Jakarta APJII Regional Office also carries out Road to BATIC.events activities, which is to stay in touch with all APJII Regional Offices located on the Java and Bali islands.

"This activity has two objectives, firstly as the youngest regional administrator, of course you have to learn a lot from seniors, secondly to explore a number of potentials for the development of APJII DKI Jakarta, which is narrowed down to the concept of a digital ecosystem that has indeed been announced by the General Chair of APJII," said Tedi again.

“We can see how our more senior colleagues are in developing their organization well. We want to collaborate to strengthen organizations that have high value for the public,” said Tedi.
