REI Banten Prepare 12,000 Subsidy House Units

JAKARTA - The Indonesian Real Estate Association (REI) Banten has provided a subsidized house of 12,000 units/year for low-income people to have decent housing. "At the national level, we offer subsidized houses after West Java. Banten's potential is large enough to provide subsidized houses with eight regencies and cities," said Chairman of REI Banten Roni Takiyanto Adali in Serang, quoted from Antara, Thursday, September 29. REI Banten is now focusing on providing subsidized houses in the western part of Banten from the previous Tangerang Regency, Tangerang City and South Tangerang. The western part of Banten area includes Serang City, Serang Regency and Cilegon City, because the potential for subsidized houses is quite large. To promote subsidized houses, a property industry exhibition will be held in Cilegon City to introduce to people who do not yet have a house to get easy services with various subsidized home facilities. In addition, it revives the REI association, as well as to boost the marketing of the property industry in Banten. The subsidized house with interest rates relatively small to five percent of installment plates for 20 years compared to commercial houses quite high with interest rates between 11 - 12 percent, depending on commercial banks that are now increasing interest rates to overcome inflation. "I think that by providing subsidized houses, it is certain that the national economy of the COVID-19 pandemic can stimulate," he explained. According to him, REI now has a "REI Banten stretch, property shot up" program, so people who don't have a house can use subsidized houses. His party appreciates that the stock of shareholders and local governments support the property industry in Banten to stretch to help low-income people to own subsidized houses, so as to improve their welfare. "We provide the subsidized house to help the government so that people's welfare is better," he said.
