Livin By Mandiri Can Be Used Abroad Starting October 2022

JAKARTA - President Director of PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk Darmawan Junaidi stated that the Livin’ by Mandiri application will be able to be used abroad starting October 2022, making transactions easier for Indonesian Migrant Workers (PMI). “God willing, in October, Livin’ by Mandiri can be used by IMEI base abroad with an overseas sim card throughout the Indonesian citizen having a NIK,” he said in a Hearing Meeting (RDP) with Commission XI DPR RI in Jakarta, quoted from Antara, Wednesday, September 28. Darmawan explained that later the International Mobile Equipment Identity (IMEI) number or serial number that all mobile phones from abroad can use the Livin' by Mandiri application as long as they have a Population Identification Number (NIK). He said PMIs in various countries as long as they have Identity Cards (KTP) can be used to open accounts until they receive services from Livin’ by Mandiri. Not only that, Darmawan explained that his party is also continuing to increase the capacity of the Livin&rsquo application transaction service; by Mandiri which is currently 15,000 per second to 50,000 per second by the end of the year. Moreover, he is optimistic that the transaction capacity of the Livin&rsquo application; by Mandiri will be able to penetrate 100 thousand per second so that Bank Mandiri becomes the maximum banking in increasing transaction capacity. “ If we talk to its vendors around the world, it may only be Bank Mandiri who has the ability to be ready to serve 100,000 transactions per second,” he said. According to Darmawan, through various developments in the Livin’ by Mandiri application feature, customers do not need to come directly to branch offices. Even Bank Mandiri has now transformed 241 branches of its office into smart braces, namely technology service-based.
