SOE Momentum Startup Day, ID Food: Acceleration Of Food Technology Ecosystems In Indonesia

JAKARTA - As a measure to anticipate the food crisis, Food Holding ID Food seeks to accelerate the food technology ecosystem in Indonesia.

This is as echoed by President Joko Widodo to take advantage of technological opportunities to anticipate the food crisis.

This is also in line with what SOE Minister Erick Thohir has mandated in SOE Startup Day activities so that SOEs can play an active role in utilizing digital economic opportunities in Indonesia and become part of a mutually beneficial digital ecosystem.

Pada momentum BUMN Startup Day, Direktur Utama Holding Pangan ID FOOD Frans Marganda Tambunan mengatakan, Holding pangan ID FOOD turut mendukung ekosistem digital di sektor pangan untuk mencapai akselerasi ekosistem teknologi pangan di Indonesia.

One of them is collaborating with the Startup Pitik Digital Indonesia company, which is a startup in the livestock sector by modernizing the poultry supply chain from upstream to downstream.

"Through the synergy of the food sector Startup, this momentum also realizes the acceleration of the food sector technology ecosystem," explained Frans.

Meanwhile, Director of Supply Chain Management and Information Technology ID FOOD Adhi Cahyono Nugroho added that through the collaboration between the Livestock sector Startup company, ID Food group played a role in creating a balance between the upstream and downstream ecosystems of the livestock sector.

"The synergy between ID Food and startup is expected to help provide food for gas commodities through modernizing the poultry supply chain from upstream to downstream, so that the supply of chicken food commodities can be distributed evenly meet the needs of the community," explained Adhi.
