The Ministry Of Energy And Mineral Resources Allocates Rp868 Billion To Build EBT Infrastructure

JAKARTA - The Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) has allocated Rp868.71 billion for the construction of New and Renewable Energy (EBT) infrastructure in Indonesia.

Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Arifin Tasrif explained, from the budget there was an adjustment of the budget from the Athlete PLTS of Rp. 94.44 billion to be transferred to the Integrated PLTS/PLTMH in the 3T area and as much as Rp. 500.94 billion was allocated for Information Activities on the General Street of Solar Power (PJU TS).

"The budget allocation for the Integrated PLTS/PLTMH in the Permanent 3T area is 12/3 units with a budget of Rp. 94.44 billion and the allocation of PJU TS of 31,075 units with a budget of Rp. 500.45 billion," said Arifin in a statement to the media, Friday, September 23.

In addition, the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources also conveyed his commitment to immediately carry out the infrastructure procurement process in 2022 through Pra Dipa's auction, so that early 2023 it can run and the community can immediately take advantage of it.

"We ask for the support of members of Commission VII of the DPR RI to immediately submit data completeness, proposals for beneficiaries so that the procurement process and implementation of infrastructure activities can run well and can immediately be utilized by the community," explained Arifin.

On various occasions, the Director General of EBTKE of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources Dadan Kusdiana conveyed that the installation of PJU TS is expected to be able to be a solution for the efficiency of electricity for lighting in the community.

This facility will also save on the expenditure of Regional Original Revenue (PAD) originating from the road lighting tax.

"The benefits are the same as the PLTSorftop, which is reducing the payment of electricity bills," said Dadan.

The choice of lighting using PJU TS as an lighting tool has advantages, namely the stand-alone nature.

This facility uses sunlight as a source of electrical energy, so it is very suitable to be used for roads in areas that have not been reached by PLN electricity and also areas that are experiencing an electrical energy crisis, especially in remote areas.

The PJU TS provided to this program has a one-year maintenance guarantee plus a two-year system guarantee since maintenance guarantee ends, so a total of three years of repair guarantees are borne by the provider.
