JAKARTA - PT Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk through its subsidiary PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia International (Telin) is committed to strengthening the digital ecosystem and regional connectivity through the Bali Annual Telkom International Conference (BATIC) 2022.

President Director of Telkom Ririek Adriansyah said, BATIC 2022 is an international telecommunications forum platform that brings together ICT players, global telecommunication operators, technology and solutions partners for exchanging information around the telecommunications industry, developing networking, and business agreements.

"BATIC 2022 provides a great opportunity for TelkomGroup to share insights and experiences, benchmarking, establish strategic partnerships with international big players and even invite potential investors to come and invest in Indonesia," he said in a statement quoted by Antara, Wednesday, September 21.

Ririek said the seventh year meeting was held in Nusa Dua, Bali, on September 20-23 2022. BATIC 2022 is packaged with the nuances of Indonesian culture and traditions with the number of participants who have been confirmed to be present reaching 600 participants from 200 global companies from various countries.

On the first day, participants attended conferences and panel discussions that focused on Indo-Pacific as a Digital Connectivity Hub.

Ririek gave a presentation related to digitalization which is the main factor driving the world economy. Then, the presentation was continued by the Director of Wholesale & International Service Telkom Bogi Witjaksono regarding Telkom Indonesia's vision and role to support Indonesia in realizing digital roadmaps and accelerating the development of the Indo-Pacific connectivity ecosystem.

This year's BATIC event carries the theme 'Reconnecting Regions, Reviving Digital Ecosystems' where BATIC, which was vacuumed for two years due to the pandemic, wants to invite technology, communication and information (ITC) and global telecommunications players to reconnect and welcome the world's digital transformation.
