JAKARTA PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia Tbk. (BRI) is targeting a customer transaction target of Rp. 2,500 trillion through the official BRImo application.
BRI Director of Consumer Handayani said the target was based on the high public interest in transacting through digital channels.
According to him, the growth in the value of this transaction is in line with BRImo's strategy of intensively innovating in terms of features and partnerships with merchants.
"We project that the transaction value until the end of this year can reach IDR 2,500 trillion," he said in a press statement quoted on Monday, September 19.
Handayani added that the achievement of this transaction volume is also in line with the rapid growth of users.
Handayani said, the average BRImo user growth reached 700,000 to 800,000 per month.
As for August 30, 2022, the total number of users who have been connected to the company's application is 20.24 million.
