Jababeka Golf Successfully Holds Asian Development Tour Tournament

JAKARTA - PT Jababeka Tbk through one of its subsidiaries Jababeka Golf & Country Club successfully held an international golf tournament titled OB Golf Invitational 2022 for four days from September 13 to September 16 2022 at Jababeka Golf & Country Club, Kota Jababeka Cikarang, Bekasi.

The OB Golf Invitational 2022 presented by Jababeka is the fifth of the six Asian Development Tour (ADT) tournaments held in Indonesia, where the ADT calendar has 13 events taking place in Asian countries.

The OB Golf Invitational 2022 at Jababeka Golf & Country Club itself was exciting. Professional golfers from various countries are chasing each other with numbers and only a small number are adrift. It was recorded that more than 100 golfers from around the world participated in this event, namely Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, the Philippines, the United States, Sweden, Korea, and Australia.

Meanwhile, Indonesia comes with its flagship golfers, such as Naraajie Emerald R (winner of the OB Golf Invitational ADT on 7 - 10 June 2022), Benita Kasiadi, Jonathan Wijono, and Fadhli R. Soetarso.

The winner of the 2022 OB Golf Invitational at Jababeka Golf & Country Club was won by Thai golfer Suteepat Prateeptienchai who was entitled to a cash prize of 12,250 US dollars. Meanwhile, Jonathan Wijono, the host golfer, managed to place himself in the fourth position after playing in the final round with a total score of 269 for four days of the tournament.

It is possible that Jababeka Golf & Country Club has an area of ​​67 hectares and has 18 holes and par 72. Especially during professional tournaments, it is changed to par 70 to increase the difficulty of the golf course.
