JAKARTA - Java Integrated Industrial and Port Estate (JIIPE) developers in Gresik, East Java PT Berkah Kawasan Manyar Sejahtera (BKMS) received sharia financing, bank guarantee and SBLC facilities and Foreign Valuta Transactions (Forex) from PT Bank Permata Tbk and the Sharia Business Union of Bank Permata. The value is IDR 910 billion.

Dalam perjanjian kerja sama ini pembiayaan investasi kepada BKMS menggunakan produk pembiayaan investasi sharia IMBT (Ijarah Pujinia BitTamlik) dan Musyarakah Mutanthaqisoh (MMQ) dengan jangkat pembiayaan mencapai maksimal 7 tahun. Adapun total limit pembiayaan investasi sharia kepada BKMS yaitu setara Rp900 miliar dan fasilitas forex (valuta asing) sebesar 100.000 dolar AS dan fasilitas Bank Garansi dan SBLC sebesar 500.000 dolar AS.

President Director of BKMS Bambang Soetiono said, with the financing from PermataBank, it shows that industrial estates (JIIPE) that have been designated as Special Economic Zones (SEZ Gresik) from the Government are increasingly attractive to banks.

"Good banking support will make JIIPE's development even better so that it is hoped that investment targets that come from outside and within the country can be achieved soon which will have a good economic impact on Gresik in particular and East Java in general where in the end it will have an impact on national economic growth," said Bambang in his statement, Tuesday, September 13.

Director of Wholesale Banking PermataBank Darwin Wibowo said, as a universal bank, PermataBank always strives to meet the various needs of customers. Among them by providing financing in sharia products and conventional products to BMKS.

On the same occasion, the Director of the Syariah Business Unit PermataBank Herwin Bustaman hoped that sharia financing could have a positive impact on the movement of the JIIPE industrial area. With the support of infrastructure and assets owned, PermataBank Syariah will continue to encourage corporate financing in line with government directives to encourage the private sector to be involved in infrastructure development in Indonesia.

BMKS is a subsidiary of PT AKR Corporindo Tbk which is engaged in the development and management of the integrated area JIIPE (Java Integrated Industrial and Port Estate) in Gresik, East Java. BMKS is one of the government's partnerships private with a composition of ownership of PT AKR of 60 percent and PT Pelindo Indonesia (Persero) of 40 percent through its respective subsidiaries PT Era Pratama Nusantara and PT Berlian Jasa Terminal Indonesia.

JIIPE is the first integrated area and is a pilot area for industrial development in Indonesia with a total area of 3,000 ha consisting of industrial areas, multifunctional public ports and residential areas with the concept of independent cities.

The JIIPE Port operated by PT Berlian Manyar Sejahtera (BMS, a subsidiary of PT Pelindo and PT AKR Corporindo Tbk) is the deepest in East Java with drafts -14 to -16 LWS with the ultimate sandar area reaching 6.2 km (outside and inside) which is expected to serve large ships with a payload of up to 100,000 DWT.
