JAKARTA - Minister of Cooperatives and SMEs Teten Masduki stated that pearl lobsters in Central Buton Regency, Central Sulawesi, can be processed into superior culinary delights such as in Japanese-style restaurants.

At least, said the Coordinating Minister, there are two things that can be achieved at the event, namely to measure the quality of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) products and bring MSMEs closer to the market.

"If this event is carried out regularly, it can even be held in other areas, then the various superior products of Central Buton Regency have the opportunity to be promoted and known by a wider market," said Teten.

Southeast Sulawesi Governor Ali Mazi said the activity was a means to introduce the public that Central Buton Regency has a variety of leading commodities that can be maximized by MSME actors.

"We expect all parties to support efforts to develop MSMEs to advance and advance to class," he said.

Meanwhile, the Regent of Central Buton Muhammad Yusup emphasized that the MSME and Culinary Expo 2022 event was very important to encourage the revival of the region's economy. He appreciated the visit of Minister Teten which is believed to bring the MSMEs of Central Buton Regency to life.
