JAKARTA - The state-owned construction and investment company, PT PP (Persero) Tbk (PTPP) won an award at the ASEAN Innovation Awards 2022 which was held directly by Autodesk. The event was held offline in Singapore which was attended directly by Yul Ari Pramuraharjo as Director of Operations for PTPP Infrastructure on Wednesday 7 September. In the award event, PTPP won an award for the Innovator of The Year category at the 2022 ASEAN Innovation Awards. The award ceremony was also attended by Autodesk CEO, VP AutoCAD & AEC Industry Strategy Autodesk, SVP Infrastructure 1 PTPP Arzan, and SM Smart Construction Technology PTPP Arief Rahman. The award was given directly by Mr. Nicolas Mangon as VP AutoCAD & AEC Industry Strategy Autodesk to Yuli Ari Pramuraharjo as Director of Operations for PTPP Infrastructure. The Autodesk's global AEC Excellence Awards organized by Autodesk aims to give recognition to the personal, project, and technology used in the world's best engineering and construction work. This year, Autodesk launched the 2022 ASEAN Innovation Awards where the event is a place to give awards to the best and superior companies in the construction industry. The ASEAN Innovation Awards 2022 Autodesk is an annual skill-based competition that recognizes projects in the ASEAN region that use technological innovation in the implementation of their work. The technological innovations implemented are Building Information Modeling (BIM) and AEC Autodesk (Architecture, Engineering, and Construction). In this prestigious event, PTPP managed to come out as the First Champion of 56 shortlisted temples. PTPP as a State-Owned Enterprise trusted by the Government to build a 4.3 kilometer Main Road for the Mandalika Circuit located in Lombok, East Nusa Tenggara. This road was built with special designs and specifications by PTPP. The success of the construction of this project proves that Indonesia is ready to implement integrated BIM and construction technology in the work of asphalting the main road of the Mandalika Circuit. This project is expected to be a reference by other construction companies in applying asphalt methods with BIM technology. Where by using this method, the asphalting process becomes accurate, fast, and efficient. "PTPP really appreciates the highest number of activities or events where the award will be a challenge for PTPP to be able to continue to improve the company's performance and innovation in a sustainable manner," said PTPP Director of Operations for Infrastructure, Yul Ari Pramuraharjo in a written statement, Friday 9 September.
