JAKARTA - Director of Extension, Services and Public Relations of the Directorate General of Taxes Neilmaldrin Noor said that his party had collected tax revenues of added value on trade through electronic systems (PMSE) of Rp. 8.2 trillion until August 31, 2022.

This value comes from IDR 731.4 billion in deposits in 2020, IDR 3.9 trillion in 2021, and IDR 3.5 trillion in 2022.

"The correction of the PMSE VAT collection was carried out in the event that there was an element of data in the decision on a different appointment or changed from the actual situation or there was an error in the issuance of the decree," explained Neilmaldrin.

In accordance with PMK Number 60 of 2022, PMSE business actors who have been appointed as collectors are required to collect VAT at a rate of 11 percent for foreign products sold in Indonesia.

Neilmaldrin reminded business actors who have been appointed as PMSE VAT collectors to make proof of collection of VAT for taxes that have been collected in the form of commercial invoices, billing, order receipts, or other similar documents that state VAT collection and have been paid.

"In the future, DGT will continue to appoint PMSE business actors who sell products and provide digital services from abroad to consumers in Indonesia and have met the criteria, namely the transaction value with Indonesian buyers exceeds Rp600 million a year or Rp50 million a month, and or the number of traffic in Indonesia exceeds 12 thousand a year or a thousand a month, to collect PMSE VAT for its activities," he said.
