JAKARTA - The Ministry of Transportation (Kemenhub) said that the connectivity infrastructure program is one of the national priority activities in 2023.

"The first is land transportation connectivity infrastructure with the largest budget of Rp. 1.73 trillion," said Director General of Land Transportation Hendro Sugiatno as quoted by Antara, Wednesday, September 7.

Hendro explained that the connectivity infrastructure program in 2023 will focus on improving transportation infrastructure services and development.

The land transportation safety and security program is budgeted at IDR 715 billion, with activities to increase road safety facilities in 33 provinces, national road safety weeks in 33 provinces, construction of Motor Vehicle Balance Implementation Units (UPPKB) in 4 locations, and rehabilitation of UPPKB in 4 locations.

"The total budget prepared for national priority activities in 2023 is IDR 2.82 trillion," he said.

Hendro added that the priority work program for 2023 is the main agenda in improving services to the community as well as meeting the targets of the RPJMN and the government's Renstra.
