The flyover construction has been carried out since the issuance of a Work Start Order (SPMK) dated May 24, 2021 and is targeted for completion in November 2022.

PUPR Minister Basuki Hadimuljono said connectivity between regions was needed so that the mobility of goods, services, and human beings was more efficient.

With the smoother connectivity, said Basuki, it is hoped that it will increase regional economic growth so that it can help the process of accelerating development in the region.

"Development of bridge infrastructure, flyovers and underpasses will facilitate connectivity and traffic accessibility, in addition to providing alternatives for residents to increase economic productivity," Minister Basuki said, quoted on Tuesday, September 6.

Basuki revealed that the physical progress of building the Patih Galung flyover until the 64th week of August had reached 77.7 percent.

"It is hoped that the construction of the flyover will be completed faster than the planned end of November 2022 to increase connectivity and encourage economic growth in Prabumulih City and its surroundings," he said.
