Prabowo Calls A Meeting With Puan Maharani For The Interest Of The Nation

BOGOR - Chairman of the Gerindra Party Prabowo Subianto explained that his meeting with the chairman of the PDI-P DPP Puan Maharani at Prabowo's residence, located in the Hambalang area, Bogor, West Java, Sunday, September 4, was the beginning of the political season.

The two met while riding and eating together. Prabowo and Puan also took the time to have a one-on-one discussion.

After the meeting, Prabowo will continue to build communication with PDIP with the aim of the interests of unity and mutual cooperation between the nation's children.

"For us, whatever is for the good of our nation and state is ready to implement it," Prabowo told reporters on Sunday.

Prabowo said an agreement to continue to communicate well to continue friendship and family relations.

"We have a lot of ideological views, we are a national party, we are committed to Pancasila, the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia, Bhinneka Tunggal Ika, national unity, and people," he said.

He said that his relationship with Puan's family had been well established for a long time.

"More than that, I actually feel very close to Mrs. Puan and Mrs. Megawati Soekarnoputri, as well as Mr. Taufiq Kiemas," said Prabowo.

He said his closeness had been passed down for three generations, including Megawati's family, so today's meeting was not a new meeting.

"My parents are also close to Mrs. Mega's parents and so on, my grandfather is also close to Bung Karno," said Prabowo.

Prabowo emphasized that he was determined to continue political communication continuously, openly, with what it is.
