Surge Will Officially Metaverse Ecosystem With 18.5 Million User Potential

JAKARTA - Metaverse is currently a hot topic in the world of technology. The concept that Facebook/Meta has echoed since 2019 has promised internet users a more realistic virtual experience in carrying out daily activities in cyberspace. In capturing this opportunity, PT Solusi Sinergi Digital Tbk (WIFI) alias Surge will soon launch the latest metaverse ecosystem to commemorate the 77th Indonesian Independence called MyVerse. MyVerse carries a metaverse concept that can be accessed by all people without having to use a special device (wearable device) to surf the MyVerse ecosystem. With the support of the company's infrastructure, namely a large-capacity fiber optic infrastructure along the railway line of up to 64 Tbps and the Edge Data Center in various locations for the Content Delivery Network needs, it is hoped that it can provide the best experience for users in utilizing MyVerse. As for the initial stage, the potential for MyVerse users is 18.5 million users of rail-based transportation modes who have been enjoying services from Surge. This will provide potential in the development of the company's digital advertising business line which can contribute significantly to the company's future revenues. In creating My Verse, the company collaborates with two digital creative companies, namely Fromlabs Pte. Ltd. and PT Lini Imaji Kreasi Ecosystem (Futur Phuture). The CEO of Surge, Hermansjah Haryono said, to build an ecosystem in the Metaverse world is not easy, a low latency is needed in providing the best experience for users. "Users can enjoy all the features on My Verse more easily such as getting information in real time, communicating between users, community activities, trading, various interesting gaming activities, and being an attractive forum for advertising and entertainment media," said Jeremy. Surge has collaborated with 36 brands for the initial stage of utilizing the MyVerse ecosystem. In addition, the company also invited various train user communities as well as 168 thousand stall and MSME partners who had been using various services from Surge to start utilizing the MyVerse ecosystem for various needs. The company has also conducted initial testing with various train user communities on August 13, 2022 and received a positive response.
