JAKARTA - Touchless technology continues to advance to accompany civilization. Later, this technology was developed into the realm of sanitation, namely the Touchless Flush toilet system initiated by TOTO as a provider of sanitary equipment in Indonesia.

Through this new innovation, users simply wave above the surface of the flush button, then the system will work to turn the toilet.

According to the President Director of PT Surya Toto Indonesia (TOTO), Hanafi Atmadiredja, sanitary equipment is an important factor in ensuring cleanliness and health.

"The hygienic lifestyle for the sake of the health of themselves and their families is a must, especially bathrooms and toilets that intersect with daily life, both in public places and especially at home," Hanafi said in a statement, Saturday, August 27.

As health awareness grew in the community, the choice of contactless sanitation products began to become a trend. The reason is that activities in toilets can invite bacteria and germs that stick to various bathroom utensils.

This was also revealed by a former badminton athlete who is also a gold medalist at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics, Greysia Polii, during a visit to TOTO Showroom, West Jakarta.

During his retirement, Greysia admitted that she was focused on taking care of her family at home, and most importantly health and hygiene matters.

"My choice to touchless TOTO toilet is because it is more hygienic, antibacterial because it is without touch, and environmentally friendly because it is water efficient too," he said.

In addition, water saving technology makes water use more efficient. So, it's only natural that this TOTO Touchless Flush toilet is considered capable of bringing a healthier and more hygienic life.
