JAKARTA - The Financial Services Authority (OJK) of East Nusa Tenggara Province noted that as many as six investment entities that appeared in NTT had been terminated due to operating illegally and harming the local community.

"So far there have been six investment entities that have been declared illegal and have been dismissed, namely Asia Dynasty Sejahtera, KSU Amanda Permata, Wein Group, KSP Sejahtera Bersama, Advanced Global Technology, and Enel Power Green," said Head of the NTT OJK Office Japarmen Manalu as quoted by Antara. , Friday, August 5th.

He said this was related to efforts to take action against illegal investment practices that emerged in NTT.

He said that of the six illegal investment entities, there were two entities that were criminally processed, namely Asia Dynasty Prosperous in the form of 7 years in prison and a fine of Rp. 10 billion for the perpetrators.

In addition, in the Wein Group case, the perpetrator was sentenced to 13 years in prison and a fine of Rp. 10 billion.

The illegal investment practice, he said, operates illegally by offering illogical advantages that ultimately bring losses to the people who join in it.

Japarmen Manalu said, on various occasions, OJK through the Investment Alert Task Force (SWI) continues to remind the people of NTT to always be wary of fake investment offers.

The public is advised to always adhere to the 2L (Legal and Logical) principles when facing an investment trap.

The legal principle is to understand whether an investment has a legal basis or a permit and is registered and supervised by the OJK or not.

While the logical aspect is observing whether or not the benefits offered from an investment are reasonable.
