Sandiaga Uno's Praise For Successful Acehnese In Developing Creative Economy

JAKARTA - The Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy, Sandiaga Uno praised the creative economy players in Aceh Besar Regency who are starting to show good development.

"I admire the development of the creative economy in Aceh Besar," said Sandiaga Uno, Thursday, August 4.

This was conveyed by Sandiaga Uno when giving material at a workshop on the Indonesian Creative district/city program (Creative Words) to MSME actors and the creative economy in Aceh Besar.

On that occasion, Sandiaga Salahuddin Uno also had time to practice directly how to process and serve turmeric coffee typical of Lamteuba Aceh Besar and Samahani jam bread, Kuta Malacca District.

Sandi said that the developments that existed when mothers had to continue to be encouraged in order to improve the welfare and income of the creative economy community.

He also asked every local business actor to dare to appear and develop the potential of local products in the Kata Kreatif Indonesia program.

Even though they are still hit by the COVID-19 pandemic, said Sandi, creative economy actors are again seen rising to develop their respective businesses.

"So all parties must play an active role in increasing job opportunities and making the community's economic business more productive for the community," said Sandiaga.

Meanwhile, the Acting Regent of Aceh Besar Muhammad Iswanto said the presence of the Menparekraf was an added motivation for creative economy actors and SMEs in the local district.

"Thank you for coming, Mr. Minister and his entourage. People should always be grateful for all the graces of Allah SWT," he said.

He also said, Aceh Besar currently has a very large and diverse tourism and creative economy potential. So all of that must really be used.

"These various potentials will be maximized to increase the welfare and prosperity of the community," said Muhammad Iswanto.
