Garuda Indonesia Gives Special Prices For Electric Vehicle Industry Logistics

JAKARTA – PT Garuda Indonesia Tbk is collaborating with the Indonesian Electric Vehicle Industry Association (Periklindo) through providing accessibility to air transportation services.

This collaboration was marked by the signing of a memorandum of understanding at the 2022 Perikliindo Electric Vehicle Show (PEVS) at JIExpo Kemayoran, Thursday, July 28, 2022.

President Director of Garuda Indonesia, Irfan Setiaputra, said that his party provides special prices for all Perikliindo members, both business partners, community members, and companies engaged in the battery-based electric motor vehicle (KLBB) industry.

Irfan added that the company's strategic partnership with Periklinddo not only supports an eco-friendly vehicle ecosystem but reduces global emissions.

"Garuda Indonesia through a system that allows service users to later be able to contribute to the environment as measured by the amount of carbon emissions from each trip that we are currently developing, including maximizing the involvement of service users in environmental conservation measures," said Irfan. told reporters Thursday.

He added that his party also provides special discounts for visitors who make ticket purchases, GarudaMiles, and Garuda Indonesia ancillary products at the PEVS 2022 event.

"Hopefully the collaboration between Perikliindo and Garuda Indonesia will be the first step that accompanies success for the advancement of the electric vehicle industry in Indonesia, and the collaboration will continue for years to come," concluded Irfan.

Meanwhile, General Chairperson (Ketum) Periklindo Moeldoko said cooperation with Garuda Indonesia is expected to be a sustainable synergy.
