Bank Mandiri's Digital Transactions Doubled To A Value Of Rp1.080 Trillion

JAKARTA - PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk stated that customer transactions through digital channels on the Livin official application have doubled year on year / yoy in the first semester of 2022.

Bank Mandiri President Director Darmawan Junaidi stated that the number of transactions was 881 million times with a value of more than Rp1,080 trillion.

"We noted that since its launch in October 2021 until the middle of this year Livin has been downloaded 14 million times," he said in a press statement received by the editors on Thursday, July 28.

According to Darmawan, the two mainstay features that customers use the most are investments for easy financial solutions and Sukha, which can simplify the lifestyle needs of users.

"It is undeniable that our application is sufficient to support business performance. This is proven in just eight months, it has been downloaded by millions of people and is able to execute up to 21,000 transactions per second," he said.

Meanwhile, for wholesale customers, the feature that is often used is Kopra, which also plays a major role in increasing transactions. The BMRI stock code bank claims the number of wholesale transactions grew 72 percent yoy in the first half of 2022 with 326 million transactions.

Bank Mandiri's flagship digital platform was also able to record a 137 percent increase in users from around 23,000 at the end of 2021 to 55,000 at the end of June 2022.

"Bank Mandiri's performance growth cannot be separated from the role of technology, we will continue to provide reliable digital banking solutions to customers to provide a customer experience like branch services at hand," he said.

On this occasion, Darmawan also said that the company managed to achieve a net profit of IDR 20.2 trillion in the first six months of 2022. This result grew 61.7 percent yoy compared to the same period in 2021 with IDR 12.5 trillion.
