JAKARTA - The Astra Group's steps in supporting the electric vehicle ecosystem are becoming more evident. One of them is through PT Astra Otoparts Tbk which introduced Astra Otopower as a charging network for Battery-Based Electric Motor Vehicles (KBLBB).

Astra Otopower, which is located in the parking area on the B2 floor of the Astra Tower, is the first KBLBB charging network to be inaugurated. Later, Astra Otopower will be present in several other locations to support the government in preparing the infrastructure for implementing the G20 Presidency activities and encouraging the development of the electric vehicle ecosystem in Indonesia.

This charging machine is also equipped with an innovative feature in the form of a Safety Flooding System which makes the charging machine automatically turn off when submerged in water. Then there is the Humidity Control System feature which prevents the charging machine from being excessively humid so that it is in accordance with Indonesian conditions.

"Currently, the Astra Otopower KBLBB charging network can be operated using a mobile web browser where the history of user charging transactions will be recorded," Hamdhani added.

In the future, the Astra Otopower operating system will be integrated with www.astraotoshop.com, so that in addition to making it easier for users to operate, customers will also be provided with more complete features.
