No Definite Decision Yet, Pertamina Denies Buying Pertalite Using MyPertamina QRCode Starting August 1

JAKARTA - PT Pertamina (Persero) through the Corporate Secretary of Pertamina Patra Niaga Irto Ginting denied the issue related to the use of the MyPertamina application starting August 1, 2022. According to Irto, until now his party has not decided when the purchase of Fuel (BBM) with QR Code will start.

"There has been no decision on the date for determining the use of the QR Code," he told VOI, Monday, July 25.

Irto also appreciated the people who have supported the Right Target Subsidy Program by registering either at the registration booth at the specified gas station/location, subsiditepat.mypertamina.id website or through the MyPertamina application.

He added that currently, the entire registration process is still ongoing. As of July 23, vehicles that have been registered have reached more than 220 thousand units.

"Of this total, almost 80 percent of vehicles registered are types of vehicles that consume pertalite, the rest are users of subsidized diesel," added Irto.

Irto continued, people who register their vehicles in the Appropriate Subsidy Program are not only limited to cities or regencies whose registration period has officially opened, but from all provinces in Indonesia. Seeing the high number of registrants from all regions, Pertamina Patra Niaga some time ago had indeed expanded the registration area to 50 cities or regencies.

To make it easier for the public to register their vehicles, Pertamina Patra Niaga also continues to ensure field readiness in the form of a direct registration booth. This direct registration booth is to help and facilitate public access to register, come directly and will be assisted in filling out data and supporting documents.

"So there's no need to worry, the direct registration booth will still be provided to make it easier for people who don't have cellphones or internet access. For those who have it, you can go directly to the subsiditepat.mypertamina.id website or through the Right Subsidy menu on the MyPertamina Application. Just fill in and upload the required documents,” added Irto.
