Trade Minister Zulhas Monitors Prices Of Basic Needs At Jagasatru Market Cirebon

JAKARTA - Minister of Trade (Mendag) Zulkifli Hasan or Zulhas monitors the prices of basic necessities at Jagasatru Market, Cirebon City, West Java, on Sunday, July 17.

"How much is the price of chili, how much oil, whether it goes up or down, you can see, so it is what it is," said Trade Minister Zulhas when questioned by media crews at Jagasatru Market, Cirebon City.

He said he did not want to conclude the results of his working visit, because everything had to be in accordance with the conditions on the ground.

"Not from me, what was written in the field, come along, that's what was written," he said.

During his working visit at Jagasatru Market, Cirebon City, Zulhas had several dialogues with a number of traders, ranging from vegetables, chili, onion, grocery, beef traders, and several others.

During the dialogue, the traders said the prices of basic necessities and household goods had decreased.

Red chili, which had been sold for Rp. 100,000 per kilogram, has now reached Rp. 40,000 per kilogram, then red onions from the price of Rp. 60,000 have now become Rp. 42,000 per kilogram.

The price of bulk oil at the kiosk that was approached by the Minister of Trade Zulhas, sold according to the highest retail price (HET) of Rp. 14,000 per liter.

Meanwhile, according to traders, the price of beef to Trade Minister Zulhas is still high, where per kilogram is sold at a price of Rp. 140,000.
