PLN Deploys 50,000 Personnel To Secure Electricity Supply During Eid Al-Fitr

JAKARTA - PT PLN (Persero) ensures that the electricity supply for Eid al-Adha 1443 Hijri this year is safe.

PLN prepares additional personnel and infrastructure to ensure reliable electricity supply.

PLN President Director Darmawan Prasodjo said that PLN deployed 50,268 personnel spread across the country, by implementing a picket system for operational officers for 24 hours to maintain the reliability of electricity supply.

To ensure safe electricity supply, PLN not only maximizes power plant operations, but also prepares backup supplies by providing 2,550 standby support equipment such as uninterruptible power supply (UPS) units, generators and mobile substation units (UGB), mobile transformers, and supporting vehicles. .

"We ordered everyone to be alert. Equipment, cranes, mobile transformer all in ready condition. The generator, primary energy readiness is also in a ready state. Everything is on and on standby," said Darmawan in a statement to the media, Monday, July 11.

Darmawan encouraged all employees to be able to fully contribute to this country.

Located at the Head Office of PT Indonesia Power, Darmawan said, this Eid al-Adha moment is a moment of reflection for all PLN personnel.

The example of sacrifice and sincerity shown by Prophet Ibrahim should be implemented at work.

"In times full of challenges, we are required to change, this requires an extraordinary struggle. For that we must bear in mind and carry out this message from Eid al-Adha, how can we sacrifice for the company we love, PLN," said Darmawan.

PLN and Indonesia Power this year donated 366 cows and 407 goats which will be distributed to 53,890 recipients.

The atmosphere of Eid al-Adha 1443 H as a form of togetherness was very wise, starting from the Eid al-Adha prayer, slaughtering sacrificial animals and the symbolic handing over of sacrificial meat, witnessed directly by the Board of Directors of the PLN Group.
